This privacy policy explains how Iker Lorente Villalba (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use Wedding Web, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the Site, we may process:
- Contact & account details: email address, names you enter in the customizer (e.g. partner names), design preferences (template, palette, texts).
- Order & payment data: order identifiers, payment status, amount, and limited billing data provided via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Content you upload: photos and wording for your wedding website.
- RSVP data: guest names, attendance, and related messages submitted on your wedding site (stored so the couple can review them in a private dashboard, and emailed to the address they choose).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, basic logs needed for security and operation; cookies as described in our Cookie policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the service (save designs, checkout, publish your site, RSVP delivery) — performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Payments via Stripe — contract and legitimate interest in preventing fraud (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
- Support and service emails (design link, order updates) — contract (Art. 6.1.b).
- Optional marketing reminders (e.g. finish your wedding website) — only if you opt in via the checkbox when saving your design; consent (Art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw anytime by unsubscribing or contacting us.
- Legal obligations (e.g. tax/accounting where applicable) — Art. 6.1.c.
- Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
4. Recipients / processors
We use trusted providers that process data on our instructions, for example:
- Stripe — payments
- Mailgun (or similar) — transactional email
- Hosting provider — servers and storage for the Site and published wedding sites (including subdomains on myweddingwebsite.com)
These providers may process data outside Spain; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Retention
- Design drafts: kept while useful for customization, then deleted or anonymized after expiry.
- Orders and published sites: kept while the wedding site is hosted and for a reasonable period afterward for support and legal obligations.
- RSVP messages: stored while the wedding site is active (and for a reasonable period afterward) so the couple can review replies in their private dashboard, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for the service or support.
- Logs: short technical retention for security.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable, and withdraw consent when processing is based on consent. Contact info@mywedddingwebsite.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, least-privilege practices). No online service is 100% risk-free.
8. Minors
The Site is aimed at adults purchasing a wedding website. We do not knowingly collect data from children for marketing.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy, where permitted by law.
